Audi A4 Allroad
It’s a normal A4 Avant with standard all-wheel drive, raised suspension, some chunky bodystyling and an off-road mode.
Engines are normal Audi fare. We drove the 268bhp 3.0 diesel. It’s a peach: quiet, refined and way quicker than it needs to be.
Regular A4s aren’t the sharpest of things to drive. They’re not meant to be. The Allroad is blunter still, but it’s so comfy we don’t care.
Drawbacks? With this engine, plus the options you want, it’s a £50k car. You can get a proper SUV for that, not an estate in drag.
