Bottom line? The Vantage is competing for your money. Aston Martin wants you to invest in it, over and above all the other cars you could put your £120,000 into. And there’s a lot of them about, as £120k is now the sports car/supercar bridging point: Audi R8, Mercedes-AMG GT, various Porsche 911s, McLaren 540C, BMW i8, Jaguar F-Type SVR, Lotus Evora GT430 – they’re all there or thereabouts.
