Offer a few quality cheeses instead of many mediocre ones. Choose three types (or five at most) – although it is possible to create a board with a single cheese, such as a spectacularly large, round, perfectly ripe brie. Balance the selection by providing a variety of cheese flavours – take your pick from our suggestions, then fill the board with crackers, bread, fresh and dried fruit, and nuts, in an eye-catching display.
