Every October, photographers around the world get together to explore, photograph, share photos, make new friends and be part of a great cause. I'm talking about the Annual Worldwide Photo Walk, which in 2016 supported the Springs of Hope Kenya Orphanage, an organisation that feeds, houses, educates and empowers young orphans so that they can grow up to not just survive but succeed. As part of more than 18,000 photography enthusiasts I was part of the world’s largest social photography event. I was told there were more than 1000 photo walks taking place in cities and towns all around the world!
