On February 20th, the worlds leading 24hr solo racers will be lined up, ready to race for the 2016 WEMBO Championships. Held as part of the Rotorua Bike Festival for 2016, the race will be run at the same time as the Nduro24, but on a separate course. Same village, same vibe, same style trails – but a clear course for those vying for a world title.
Race director, Tim Farmer, is an endurance mountain biker, himself, and explained that year on year, the event is growing.
