THE STANDARD V4 is more than $8500 cheaper, with the main difference being the absence of the semi-active Öhlins suspension.
Still standard, though, are the Ducati Power Launch, Ducati Quick Shift (up/down), Bosch cornering ABS, Riding and Power modes, etc. There’s also the same 12,000km service intervals, a generous period for such a hyperactive superbike.
When it comes to price tags this size, if you can afford the V4 S, go for it. Why wouldn’t you?
Equally, if the standard bike is only just within range, you would likewise be crazy not to indulge. And guess what – the power claim is the same.
