• Choose fabric with a close pattern repeat. You will get more out of your fabric and reduce waste. • Use a fussy cutting mirror to help when making decisions about where to cut your fabric. Create fantastic patterns by simply moving the mirror down the fabric and using your template shape as a guide. • When positioning your template, find a reference point (ie: spot, stripe or flower). If you’d like to add more character to your cat, you can texture the felt before beginning the project. Submerge it in very hot water for a few minutes. Sandwich it between two layers of towel and press it gently with your hands to remove some of the water. Put it in a clothes dryer on a hot setting for a while.
