My relationship with textiles has been quite a journey. Although I feel I have always had an innate understanding of textiles, in the early days of my career I definitely lacked confidence when using them. By continuing to work with textiles over many years, and undertaking extensive research, I have educated my eye and gradually built up my skill and confidence.
