There’s no questioning the commitment of homeowner Caroline to the renovation of her Federation home on Sydney’s leafy north shore. Saul Myers didn’t plan to move back to his home town of Avoca, on the New South Wales Central Coast. Yet, about to start a family in 2014, he was keen to put down some roots. Sitting almost 300km south of Perth, and nestled in between the surf and a spectacular national park, Mikaela and Eliza’s family home was perfectly suited to a coastal-style overhaul with layers of texture, natural stone and pale timbers.
