An abundance of elegant homes graces Brisbane’s eastern riverside suburbs, but business owner Charlie’s Hamptons-inspired stunner still catches the eye. “We share a similar climate to the Hamptons, so it makes sense the style works well here,” says Charlie, with a clear appreciation for the endless sunshine of his adopted hometown after a childhood filled with chilly English winters. Here, on the other hand, “the winters are particularly amazing,” notes Charlie, “though the summers do necessitate access to airconditioning or a pool!” Fittingly, he cites the pool zone as his favourite area in the home. “Whether swimming or just sitting and relaxing, it’s the perfect spot,” he says.
