COUNTRY ESCAPE Homely and enticing, Kyly and Michael Clarke’s living room in the Southern Highlands, NSW, is a welcoming sitting area bathed in natural sunlight. SUNNY DAYS Homeowners Zara and Kushi and their boys, Leo (pictured opposite) and Charlie, love it when their neighbour’s dog Zsa Zsa comes to visit. BEFORE INTERIOR DESIGNER Sam Robinson worked her magic on this show-stopping space, it was a dark and nondescript bathroom within a three-bedroom 1950s house. Her clients, a young couple, says Sam, could embrace a much bigger decorating story. “I just knew they would accept something a bit out of the ordinary,” explains Sam. GABRIEL DIAMANTIS was that kid who was always making things. Then, she was that teenager who was clever with anything crafty.
