In an era when college basketball rosters are more fluid than ever, several Big Sky teams are experiencing an uncommon level of continuity. After finishing first in the league, Southern Utah brings nearly everyone back, while contenders — or potential contenders — such as Weber State, Idaho State, Montana State, Montana and Northern Colorado, all return plenty of key pieces.
Elsewhere in the league, however, the story is different. Idaho, Northern Arizona and Sacramento State face plenty of roster questions, while Portland State and Eastern Washington welcome new coaches. And for Eastern Washington, last season’s Big Sky Tournament champions, the coaching change coincides with a near-total roster overhaul.
