THE WINTERTHUR Museum, Garden & Library will present the 57th Annual Delaware Antiques Show on November 5–7. The showcase of antiques, art, and design returns in person to the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, Del., and is presented by Wilmington Trust, part of the M&T Bank Family.
The show boasts more than 60 top dealers from around the country specializing in American antiques, furniture, paintings, rugs, porcelain, silver, jewelry, and other decorative arts. One of the fair’s highlights, Herbert Haseltine’s Head of Suffolk Punch, comes from Red Fox Fine Art, a Middleburg, Va.-based dealer. Halstine, an Italian-born French/American animalier sculptor, was famed for his equestrian works, and this elegant bronze with gilt patina and brown highlights encapsulates the sculptor’s gifts.
