THE DRIVE ALONGSIDE THE HARBOUR AS YOU head into Napier and look across to Ahuriri presents a hillside enclave, with an almost painterly quality, overlooking the usual plethora of port structures, cranes, shipping containers, industrial warehouses and moored ships.
