Conceived in 1993, Elton Group’s Eveneer brand marks it thirtieth birthday this year. Eveneer timber veneer is produced from fast-growing poplar and ayous trees that are grown in agricultural plantations and sustained-yield, FSC-certified forests. Tree trunks are debarked and rotary peeled into ribbons of veneer, which are colour-enhanced and reassembled as square “logs” to minimize waste. These square logs are sliced in a variety of ways to achieve a diverse range of curated colours, grains and patterns.
