Perhaps the best piece of advice I can give to young and emerging architects, and it’s something I have suggested to the many I have mentored over the years, is to establish or tap into an existing support network.
Being your own boss, whether as a sole practitioner or running your own practice, is immensely rewarding, but, as with any small business, architectural practices have their challenges.
