If you can remember the 1960s, you weren’t really there. It’s an old joke that referred to the way illegal substances popular at that time could lead to confusion over what was real and what was not. Well, I was 14 in 1960, too young to partake of such substances, but old enough to understand I was on the cusp of the best ever decade in which to come of age.
