Nikon firms up firmware details
Nikon has confirmed more details about the firmware updates for its Z 7 and Z 6 cameras. Support for Eye-Detection AF for stills is scheduled for May; this can detect ‘multiple eyes’ in a scene, so you can select which peepers to focus on. Other updates include support for AE (auto exposure) tracking in continuous high-speed extended mode, also set for May, and support for raw video output (date TBC) and CFexpress cards (date TBC).
