An exhibition of nine contemporary British photographers will open at London's gallery@oxo on 11 April. The winner of the Black+White Photographer of the Year 2018 contest, Rachael Talibart, will be one of the photographers included in the line-up, which also includes Doug Chinnery, Valda Bailey and Cheryl Hamer.
One of the aims of the exhibition is to showcase the diversity and breadth of contemporary photography, while also demonstrating the wide range of techniques and ideas employed by current photographers.
Exhibition organiser Beata Moore said, ‘I wanted to show that contemporary photography means something different to each of us. You will see everything from big views, intimate landscapes, cityscapes, vibrant splashes of colour, dramatic black & white images and photos that look like a painting.
