In spring, when trees are wet with melted snow,
The leaves in bud begin to grow.
In summer, blossoms pink and white,
Appear on the trees, a beautiful sight.
Leaves of brown, and red and gold,
Drift down from the trees in autumn cold.
In the winter air,
the leaves are gone, the trees are bare.
In summer and autumn, winter and spring,
The different seasons, bring birds that sing.
They nest in trees, so straight and tall,
The leaves form a canopy over all.
Some trees bear fruit, each a different kind, In an orchard you will find,
apple or orange, lemon or pear, There are so many trees, to be found…
