Roadside beauty
WHILST out walking during the lockdown period, the roadside verges have been growing up naturally in my area. Drifts of clover, thistles, red campion and garlic mustard have been a wonderful sight. On 13 May, when restrictions were relaxed slightly, I heard the sound of strimming and the drone of a mower’s engine outside. The council were back, cutting the verges!
