British shooters have fared well in the latest international Target Sprint event in Ora, competing against individuals and teams from host nation Italy as well as Germany, Hungary and Serbia.
In the Junior Men’s Singles Open race, 14-year-old Jonathan Williams won Gold, also smashing the existing GB record with a time of four minutes 26.34 seconds, knocking a massive 11 seconds off the previous record. Isaac Steele won the Silver medal, with James Davis in seventh place, while the Team placed ninth.
Team Sedgemoor’s Ariminta Stubbs took Gold in the Junior Women’s Open race, while Emily Treacher took Bronze and Zarah Duigan came fourth, all using the Air Arms TS400 rifle. Together, they came sixth in the Team race.
