Right now, we’re tackling the Mona Lisa. With so many dark, nearly identical pieces, we’re averaging only a few pieces an hour. Recently, Mom mentioned two young bucks she’d seen sparring in the yard. “Their antlers are about the size of my hand,” she said. “If you ever find a shed antler,” I told her, “I’d love it.” “I’ve never seen one,” she replied, “but I’ll keep an eye out.” The next night, I walked in to find a shed antler sitting on the table. “You won’t believe it,” Mom…

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God. HEBREWS 4:9 (NIV) REST ISN’T A sign of weakness—it’s a sacred rhythm. When you step away from the rush and turn your heart toward God, you make room for His peace to settle deep within. The Sabbath isn’t about checking out—it’s about tuning in to grace. You don’t have to carry it all. Let God hold you. God, thank You for the gift of rest. Help me slow down and find stillness with You. We all have the power to bless someone through compassion and care. Small actions can carry a lasting impact. Father, help me use my influence, however small, to bless others with grace. This verse reminds us that our strength isn’t found in striving but in stillness. Yet how often do we resist the very things that restore us? Try setting aside one small habit—scrolling, multitasking, or rushing— and replace it with silence. In that quiet space, God meets us with peace, direction, and renewal. Lord, show me what to lay down so I can be more open to You. I want to walk these days of Lent with intention and grace.…

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand. After God parted the Red Sea and delivered His people, she led the women in song, proclaiming His victory. Her joyful worship was more than celebration—it was a bold declaration of God’s power. Lord, help me respond like Miriam, with joy and trust.…

How long, LORD, must I call for help, but you do not listen? HABAKKUK 1:2 (NIV) SOME QUESTIONS DON’T have quick answers. The prophet Habakkuk wrestled with pain, injustice, and silence—but he brought it all to God. You can too. God doesn’t require tidy faith; He invites an honest relationship. Your questions don’t push Him away. They open the door to deeper trust. God, thank You for holding my doubts. Even when I don't understand, help me stay close to You.…

The jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry. 1 KINGS 17:16 (NIV) A WIDOW GAVE her last bit of flour to the prophet Elijah, and God made it stretch day after day. Her simple act of obedience opened the way for God’s ongoing provision. In our own lives, when we give what we have, even if it feels like it’s not enough, God meets us with abundance. Faith is not about having everything figured out. It is about trusting the One who does. Dear Lord, I give You what I have. Even when it feels small, I place it in Your hands. Strengthen my faith and remind me that You are always enough.…

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 (NIV) YOU MAY NOT see it all yet—but God is shaping something beautiful in you. This season of prayer has been like a puzzle coming together, slowly and faithfully. And the picture that He’s revealing is full of grace. You are still becoming—and He’s still right beside you. God, thank You for walking with me through this journey. Keep shaping me into who I was made to be. As you finish this month’s journey, search for guidance in the puzzle. You make Known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence. PSALM 16:11 (NIV) GOD’S PRESENCE DOESN’T just calm you—it energizes and strengthens you. When you pause and turn your heart toward Him, even for a moment, something within begins to lift. His nearness brings clarity, comfort, and a steady joy that quiets worry and renews your strength for the day ahead. God, thank You for the joy and energy that come from being with You. In fact, He welcomes them. Even your anger, confusion, or bitterness can be part of honest prayer. Job cried out in despair—and God listened. Bring your raw feelings to the One who understands. He loves the real you, not the edited version. God, thank You for letting me come to You with every emotion. Even when I’m upset, You stay close.…

There is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. DANIEL 2:28 (NIV) DANIEL FACED AN impossible task, but instead of panicking, he turned to God. When the answer came, he didn’t boast or point to his wisdom. Every answered prayer, insight, or open door is an opportunity to point back to the One who makes the impossible possible. In every breakthrough or moment of clarity, may we remember where the glory belongs. God, You are the Giver of wisdom, strength, and every good thing. When good comes from my efforts, remind me to lift the praise back to You.…

“The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” ACTS 2:39 (NIV) GOD’S PROMISES ARE personal—and they ripple out to those we love. His grace covers your home, your family, and every generation yet to come. Even when others seem far from faith, He is still near and at work. You can trust Him with every story. Father, thank You for including my family in Your promise. Hold them close and keep planting seeds of hope.…

You may not feel brave, but your obedience matters. When God calls, even your quiet yes can shape history. God, give me the courage to act boldly when You call. Use even my quiet strength to carry out Your will.…

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 (NIV) AS A TEENAGER, Saint Patrick was kidnapped and enslaved in Ireland. In captivity, he found peace in God’s presence, and years later, he returned to that same land to share Christ’s love. His story shows that God can transform pain into purpose and use our hardest moments for good. We can choose trust over fear and respond to hardship with love. God of peace, when storms rise, help me remember that You are with me. Give me the courage to respond with faith and love.…

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. 2 THESSALONIANS 3:16 (NIV) PEACE ISN’T ONLY found in silence or calm moments. It comes when you invite God into your thoughts, your home, and your heart. His peace steadies your spirit and gives you the strength to walk through anything with grace. When answers seem slow or the path feels quiet, remember that God is still working behind the scenes. Your job isn’t to figure it all out. It’s to keep showing up with your heart open, trusting He hasn’t forgotten you. Lord, give me strength while I wait. Help me trust that You’re still moving, even when I don’t see it.…

When you place your dreams in God’s hands, they begin to take shape with deeper meaning. Move forward with hope, knowing He walks with you. Lord, I place my plans in Your hands. Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him. COLOSSIANS 2:6–7 (NIV) FAITH ISN’T ABOUT bursts of inspiration, it’s about staying rooted. A daily rhythm of prayer, Scripture, and surrender builds a life of quiet strength. You don’t have to be extraordinary; you just have to keep coming back to Jesus. Grace grows one day, one choice, one habit at a time. Lord, help me build habits that root me in Your love. Teach me to live each day in Your grace. Search for the word grace this week.
