ALTHOUGH YOU CAN genuinely and personally know God, fully understanding Him is impossible. No matter how hard you try, you cannot fully comprehend His ways. GOD WANTS YOU to be content in Him, not in possessions. When you feel envious of what others have—a bigger house or a better job—instead of focusing on what you lack, reflect on His blessings. HAVE YOU EVER felt like Isaiah, unworthy of God’s holiness? When Isaiah realized the error of his ways, a holy seraph placed a burning coal at Isaiah’s lips and gave him the gift of forgiveness. Take a moment and search your heart for any feelings of resentment or shame holding you back. Ask God for His forgiveness. WHEN YOU FEEL confused or broken by life’s circumstances, listen to the voice deep inside your heart and turn to God’s Word. Steer away from the things you are doing that make you feel defeated. Instead, make good choices and form healthy habits that keep you on His path. Heavenly Father, help me live a life that frees me from feeling as if I have to fit into the patterns of this world. CELEBRATE TODAY, THE first day of spring! Winter has ended, and as the first blooms open, feel your spirit unfold to the joy ahead. Saint Francis de Sales (1567—1622) is recorded as saying, “Truly charity has no limit; for the love of God has been poured into our hearts by His Spirit dwelling in each one of us, calling us to a life of devotion and inviting us to bloom in the garden where He has planted and directing us to radiate the beauty and spread the fragrance of His Providence.” Heavenly Father, nurture my spirit and help me bloom where You have planted me.…

JUST AS THE moon illuminates the night sky by reflecting the sun’s light, you too can light up the darkness by reflecting God’s will. When you become a chariot of His divine energy, you radiate His glorious light into the world. Lord, fill me with Your light so I may shine away the darkness in another’s life.…

MOSES ENCOURAGED HIS people to be calm in the face of chaos. Take this Scripture to heart. God goes with you. He has blessed you with gifts to serve others and further His kingdom. God of Compassion, thank You for nurturing and shaping me with Your guidance and love.…

TODAY ON VALENTINE’S Day, reflect on this verse. Jesus tells you to love God with your whole heart, spirit and mind. Your bond with Him is the most important relationship in your life. Take a moment and feel your heart swell with love, and thank Him for the magnificent process of getting to know Him. All-Loving Lord, You are the Author and Perfecter of my faith—the Source of all love. I am overflowing with thankfulness that You are with me.…

WHEN YOU LACK the strength and willpower to stay focused on your goals—pray! Ask God to help you keep your eyes fixed on Him, away from temptation and towards victory. YOUR OTHER RELATIONSHIPS will flourish when you start by loving yourself. Reflect on this verse, and change how you treat yourself. Do you speak to yourself with kind and loving thoughts? FAITH IS THE most powerful force in the world. When life’s uncertainties arise, find comfort and peace in the knowledge that all things are possible when you believe. Ask God for help, and be assured He will walk with you through the tough times. Great Provider, I set my mind on You. Fill me with Your presence. Keep me in Your peace.…

WHEN YOU FACE trials and feel discouraged, be assured that God can and will deliver you from your troubles. Jesus knows what it feels like to be brokenhearted and unaccepted. He understands the human experience of feeling misunderstood and rejected. Receive His comforting presence. Heavenly Father, You are Lord of the broken. WHEN YOU’RE IN a difficult situation, do you spend time overthinking every option and asking God why this is happening? The next time you are troubled by a situation, consider this verse. WHEN YOU SURRENDER your will to God, peace enters your spirit and flows like a river through your life. His guidance will dispel your fears and impart strength into all of your actions.
