The shortest month and yet, this is a leap year, so we have one extra day. One glorious extra day to do something special, something extraordinary! If you are feeling down, turn to prayer. Ask God to comfort and guide you to find support and resources that can help. Pray until you feel His everlasting arms around you. Focus on what is going on and visualize God in the situation with you. Feel His love and strength. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” PSALM 46:10 (NIV) SOMETIMES THE MOST productive prayer times can be as simple as quietly sitting with God, being still and feeling His presence. Like good friends enjoying the moment—words aren’t necessary. Savor the silence. Lord, I sometimes forget the importance of being still.
